Ecopsychology in Youth Work: ReCalibur Research Kit

How does our relationship with nature, community, and the environment influence young people’s wellbeing, sense of belonging, and resilience? The ReCalibur Research Kit: Ecopsychology in Youth Work explores how the principles of ecopsychology can be brought into work with young people.
The Research Kit looks at the connections between youth work, nature, community, creativity, and mental wellbeing. It combines theoretical background with the experiences and needs of people working with young people across different European countries. The research also draws on focus groups, helping to capture current realities of youth work and the perspectives of practitioners.
The material can be useful for youth workers, trainers, facilitators, teachers, and other professionals who want to better understand how contact with nature, relationship-building, and a stronger sense of belonging can support young people and their communities.
The output includes the full Research Kit in English, language summaries, infographics, and the ReCalibur documentary with interviews, allowing you to choose the format and depth that best fits your needs.
Explore the ReCalibur Research Kit and discover ecopsychology as a source of inspiration for your work with young people.
