How can you start using coaching in your work with young people? The CATCH Coaching Handbook is a practical guide for youth workers, trainers, facilitators, teachers, and other professionals who want to bring a coaching approach into their everyday practice.

The handbook was created within CATCH – Creating Youth Work Training and Coaching Horizons, an international Erasmus+ project focused on strengthening coaching approaches in youth work. The project supports professionals in using coaching to help young people develop greater self-awareness, make decisions, explore career directions, set goals, and take more ownership of their next steps.

Inside the handbook, you will find a clear explanation of what coaching is, how it differs from mentoring, counselling, and other forms of support, and how it can be used in career guidance and youth work. It also includes practical coaching tools that can be used even by professionals who do not have previous formal coaching education.

The handbook is designed to make coaching more accessible, practical, and relevant to real work with young people.
