This is new EduEra
Welcome to the 21st century, where everything is changing quickly. Among all these changes, there are also those that are important for our organisation. More than 5 years have passed since our establishment and much has changed. Our projects are addressing different needs and are aimed at a different target group. Our members have matured as well. Volunteers are becoming experts in various subjects across different fields of education. This is precisely why our strategic and marketing team has come up with a redesign of the visual identity. Teo Lachkovič, co-founder of EduEra, told us what the new face of EduEra will look like from 2023.
Uniqueness, community, and education
“We still hold on to the main element we have been using for years, which is the circle. It represents community for us,” says Teo: “in EduEra, we are really like a family, especially among volunteers. We tackle everything together and we are good friends. However, each of us is unique and so are our participants in the projects. It doesn’t matter if they are young people or youth workers. Over these 5 years, we have seen countless unique individuals with even more unique stories.”
This year, EduEra adds value to uniqueness in light of the events that took place in 2022 and wants to strengthen the inclusivity that has been part of the educational projects since the organisation's inception. “A reminder of uniqueness is one colourful element that fits among the others. It shows that despite being in a community, each of us is different and still fits in,” adds Teo.
The last value that has accompanied us in EduEra since its founding is education, which we have emphasised since 2017. “EduEra is for me an opportunity to help young people find their potential, their voice and to support their plans,” said the president Petra Papierníková during the last identity change and that still holds true today.
Professionalism
“In the last year or two, we have started to focus primarily on youth workers, teachers, and educators. That is why we wanted to professionalise EduEra more and we have worked on it for two years both internally and externally within informal education projects. This year, we have also decided to adjust our identity to refresh it a bit and show who we are in 2023,” describes Teodor.
Volunteers of EduEra have worked on the visual identity under the leadership of Teodor Lachkovič, Lucia Saková, and Bianka Illéšová.
